Serato Scratch Live

As of April 4th, I purchase Rane's 'Serato Scratch Live' from Sam Ash Music in White Plains NY. With a rather steep price tag ($540, $580 after tax.) I can say the following... Setup was easy, downloaded the new version (1.8) of the software from ScratchLive.net. Easy Installation. 1.1 USB interface is awesome, extremely low latency. Easy to que up songs, great vinyl response scratching is awesome I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Kit included:

SL1 Interface
Software
Control Vinyl, and Control CDs
Patch cables
Install Guide/Quick Start Guide.

There are however, a couple things that I'm unhappy with.
No included AC adapter for the SL1 interface. (My USB's are powered, however some may not be) You'd think that for close to $600 they'd include an AC adapter.

No effects in the software's functions. I'm used to Traktor's effect and seeing that there are no
effects rather disappointed.

Software's design is rather...simple/lame. Picture included below.

Aside from that - nothing bad to report. But, if giving the opportunity to purchase again, I'd most likely chose Traktor Scratch.
